The Lakeland Varsity Baseball team continues to be undefeated in LVC play as they took game three from Waterford Kettering yesterday by a score of 12 - 4, earning the series sweep.
Austin Conley was outstanding on the mound recording four scoreless innings in relief, striking out three. Offensively the Eagles pounded out 13 hits led by Drake Schultz who was 3 - 3, Trent Farquhar was 3 - 4 2 RBI, Patrick McDonlad was 2 - 4 with 2 RBI, and Grant Burns was 2 - 3 with an RBI.
The win move the Eagles to 9 - 0 in LVC play and 11 - 2 overall. They are next in action Saturday at Comerica Park playing Lake Shore in a 1pm contest.
