Wednesday, May 8th, the Varsity Baseball team swept two games from Walled Lake Central in LVC action,
GM 1 LHS 8 WLC 0
Jack Miller earned the win on the mound while both Brody Cutsinger and Ethan Yen made relief appearances in the combined shutout. Sean Latham was 2 - 3 with 3RBI while Joey Swartz was 2 - 4 to pace the Eagles offense.
LHS 10 WLC 1
Nate Sanko got the win on the mound going 5 innings and not allowing any earned runs. The Eagles bats exploded for 15 hits including two each by Joey Swartz, Bo Bishop, Carter Travis, Ryan Johnson, Adam Trzcinski and Jack Miller.
The win moves the Eagles record to 17 - 6 overall and 15 - 2 in the LVC. They next take the field Saturday when it will be Senior Day. 11am start time at Eagle Park.
