Coach’s Comment:
“Faith was a fantastic part of the Lakeland Tennis Team because of her incredibly positive attitude and persistence on the court. Faith was so much fun to coach cause she worked hard in practice an applied what she learned into the match. Faith has been apart of the tennis program since she was a freshman. I was looking forward to seeing her as a leader of the Varsity Team this year and coaching her final season at Lakeland. I know the qualities that would have made her fantastic leader on the team this is year is what is going to make her successful after high school.”

Coach’s Comment:
“Isabella (or better known as Bella) was on Varsity for 3 years and was such an amazing tennis player. Bella had a presence on the court that few players have. Bella was not afraid to take risks on the court and was such a smart player. Beyond her fierce tennis skills, Bella always showed amazing sportsmanship and was such a gracious player. I was looking forward to coaching Bella again this year because I know she would have been one of our top players. Bella's presence will be missed on the team next year, but I am excited to hear about all the great things she will accomplish.”

Angela Salmeto
Athletic Career:
4 years of Varsity Tennis; also earned letters in volleyball and skiing
Favorite Memory:
Friday practices when we had karaoke dance parties.
Coach’s Comment:
“Angela is a natural born tennis player. I would call Angela "the wall" because she could get anything back. Angela is such a fun tennis player to watch because she can frustrate any opponent with her consistency and ability to read the court. Angela is also one of the most mentally stable tennis players I have ever coached, she never gets rattled during a match. Angela was a mentor and leader on the team, and as a senior it would have been no different. I know her positive attitude and natural leadership will ensure she is successful in all future endeavors.”
Future Plans:
Attending Michigan Tech to major in environmental engineering.

Chloe is one of the hardest working athletes I've ever coached. Chloe gave every match and every practice 110%. Chloe always displays incredible sportsmanship both on and off the court. I was incredibly proud to coach her and know she will successful in everything she does in the future.”

Coach’s Comment:
“I unfortunately never got to coach MacKenzie directly, however she was pulled up for Varsity matches and it was such a pleasure to get to coach her and watch her play. MacKenzie loved playing with her friends and was a bright light when she was on the court. MacKenzie's ability to adapt with any player is what made her such a crucial part of the team. I know MacKenzie has a bright future and I hope her years at Lakeland Tennis bring her fond memories!”
