Marin Ponitz
Athletic Career:
Softball -- LVC, District champs
Favorite Memory:
My favorite memory would probably be between winning our District game against Northern or when Coach Joe brought a gas station hot dog roller to practice and made us hot dogs.
Coach’s Comment:
“Marin is a great athlete with a great work ethic. However, her best asset is she is a fierce competitor who loves to challenge herself and her teammates. She will be missed on the Lakeland softball field. Wishing her the best at GVSU.”
Future Plans
I am going to study criminal justice and chemistry at Grand Valley State University.

Favorite Memory:
Playing as the only freshman on the varsity team and winning against the undefeated Howell team. Being a part of Lakeland softball has been quite the journey and allowed me to meet so many people as well as gaining countless friendships that I will never forget.
Coach’s Comment:
“Brooke is a 4-year letter winner for us at Lakeland. She is by far one of our most talented players with a great softball IQ. I am very excited for Brooke; she will do great things in our United States Air Force.”
Future Plans
