Last night, the Boys Freshman Basketball team played a complete game in defeating South Lyon, 45-31. The visiting Lions made it a close game early in the 4th quarter, but the Eagles picked up their level of play on both ends of the court to secure the win.
Nick Fredenberg got off to a hot scoring start on his way to a game-high 15 points for Lakeland. Jack Fitzgerald brought the offense in the second half, finishing with 12 points. Colton Fruytier added 8 points.
Next, the team will take the court on the road at Walled Lake Northern on Tuesday, January 23rd.

This past Tuesday, the Boys Freshman Basketball team earned its first win of the season with a convincing 43-8 victory over Waterford Mott.
Ten different Eagles scored in the game led by Zach Nelson (8 pts), Aidan Jankowski (7 pts), and Colton Fruytier (6 pts).
A strong defensive effort by Lakeland helped the Eagles build a 26-0 halftime lead, providing for a stress-free second half.
The team gets back into action on Friday with a game at Walled Lake Central.
