On January 25th, the Huron Valley United Boys Swim & Dive team completed its LVC schedule with a convincing win over Walled Lake Northern, winning 96-80.

The team won 11 of 12 events, which allowed it to overcome the visiting team, which had over twice as many athletes on its roster. Senior Skylar Jess made his season debut coming back from injury to win the diving event. Junior Owen Lynar swam a personal best in the 100 free and beat two people in his heat, while the trio of sophomores Tommy Shaw and Ralph Walter along with senior Xander Snider all produced best times in the 500 Freestyle. Sophomores Layton Armstrong and Nick Marinescu blasted to PBs along with a 1-3 finish in the 100 Free, with the latter also touching in a best time and 2nd place finish in the 50 free.

The team finished its conference regular season in 2nd place with a 3-1 record, and is currently 4-2 overall, with non conference dual meets vs Holly next Thursday, and then a road double dual @ Oxford vs Oxford and Clarkston on Feb 8th.
