Last Thursday, the Huron Valley United Boys Swim and Dive team was back in action vs Pinckney HS at home. It was a tight contest throughout the night, with the team winning 8 events en route to a 6 point win over the visiting pirates. Junior Brendan Marshall led the way with two individual wins in the 50 Free and 100 freestyles, winning the shorter race in a new personal best and the first state qualifying time for the team this season.

The team also go big contributions from junior Owen Lynar who placed 4th in the 500 Free and 100 Breaststroke, along with sophomores Ralph Wallter and Bastien Beaubien, who placed 3rd in the 100 Backstroke and 5th in the 100 Freestyle, respectively.

This win moves the team's record to 1-1 on the season as they look to begin their LVC schedule after winter break, with an away meet @ South Lyon East on Thursday January 11th @ 6pm.
