The Huron Valley United Boys Swim and Dive team opened up their season on the road @ Hartland last Thursday, ultimately falling to the Eagles 116-69 in the opener. The team competed well throughout the meet, winning 4 events and notching a number of Oakland County / MISCA qualifying performances. Junior swimmer Brendan Marshall grabbed a pair of Oakland County A cuts in the 200 Free and 100 Backstroke, while sophomore diver Jacob Bellison posted a PB score of 202.65, also achieving an automatic county qualifier. Senior Till Boneau took 2nd in the 50 and won the 100 Freestyle, both in county Consideration times, while sophomore Layton Armstrong posted a pair of B cuts as well on to way to winning the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke. Marshall, Boneau, and Armstrong teamed up with Sophomore Tommy Shaw to swim MISCA qualifying times in the 200 Medley and 400 Freestyle Relays.

The team hosts its first home meet this Thursday at 6pm @ Milford HS when they take on another out of conference foe, the Pinckney Pirates.
