It's May, and around Lakeland the past five years that has meant CHAMPIONSHIP time for the Varsity Baseball team.

Tuesday, the Eagles clinched LHS Baseball clinched their 4th LVC title in a row by sweeping a doubleheader from South Lyon on the road. Since the inception of the LVC, the Eagles league record is 81 - 9 over the five years (four seasons due to 2020 COVID pandemic), claiming every league championship in its short history.

Tate Farquhar fired a complete game, NO HIT, shut out - striking out 11 South Lyon hitters. He only allowed two runners to reach base all game. Tate also added a hit at the plate as did Nolan Hull and Brandon Abray.

GM. 2 LHS 5 SLYON 2

Brandon Lengers earned the win on the mound going 4 innings striking out 4. Caden Glennie earned the save going three innings surrendering only one hit. Chase Curry was 1 - 2 including a 2 run homer. Tate Farquhar, Nolan Hull and Andrew Platt also added hits and an RBI.
