On Thursday, April 7th, the Varsity Baseball opened its 2022 season, but the Eagles dropped their home opener to Walled Lake Central by a score of 7 - 6.
Tate Farquhar threw 4 shutout innings with 3 strikeouts. Joey Swartz went 2 - 3 with an RBI, Matthew Hanneman was 2 - 3 with a run scored and Chase Curry was 1 - 1with BB and 2 runs scored. Game 2 was suspended due to darkness.
The game moves the Eagles record to 0 - 1 in the LVC and 0 - 1
overall, they next take the field Saturday in a DH at Hartland High School beginning at 11am.
