Today, the Huron Valley United Gymnastics team competed in a tri-meet against Tecumseh and Cass City. Huron Valley scored its highest score of the year with a 141.05 and came away with the win against both schools.
IA sophomore Maeve Spicer continues to dominate on vault and scored a 9.4 today. Lakeland junior Nicole Graham scored a 9.125 and Lakeland freshman Ava Barwikowski scored a 9.15. On Bars, Lakeland senior Rachel Palaian scored the team high of 8.45. Milford junior Laura Nowicki scored an impressive 9.3 on beam, and Nicole Graham scored a meet and season high of 9.5 on floor!
Next up is the Jeanne Caruss Memorial Invitational that the team is hosting at LHS on Jan. 25. This is the biggest high school invite in the state; 20 teams will be attending. Come on out and watch the Huron Valley United team compete. The meet starts at 9:30am in the fieldhouse.
