Friday night, the Huron Valley United Gymnastics team competed against league rivals Linden-Fenton-Lake Fenton. Huron Valley came away with the win by almost 3 points, 138.250-135.650.
Top vault performer was Lakeland freshman Elena Hale with an 8.6. Top bar score was IA sophomore Maeve Spicer with an 8.675. High beam score was Lakeland junior Nicole Graham with a 9.325. Floor was the best event for the night with 3 scores in the 9's: Nicole with a 9.35, Milford junior, Laura Nowicki with a 9.125 and Milford junior, Morgan Hester with a 9.050.
HVU is now 3-0 in the LVC conference.
Next up is a tri-meet against Tecumseh and Cass City on Monday.
