Boys Varsity Football team defeats South Lyon East, 32-21; Evan Percin rushes for 185 yards and 2 TDs

SOUTH LYON EAST HIGH SCHOOL: 21
Last Friday, the Varsity Boys Football team moved to 2-0 on the season with a action-packed 32-21 victory over South Lyon East.
Lakeland scored early on an Evan Percin touchdown run, one of two he had in the game to go with 185 rushing yards. Later in the game, Reed Jabiro was the right man in the right spot, recovering a fumble in the end zone to cap a Lakeland drive. Shane Ells added a TD run of his own as well.
The team will travel to Dearborn Divine Child for a game this Friday.
The JV team moved to 2-0 on the season with a 10-7 win on the road at South Lyon East. They will play for the first time on home turf on Thursday.
