Girls Varsity Bowling defeats Milford, 27-3; Eagles led by 5 seniors on Senior Day

Eagles Win: 27 - 3
The Girls Varsity Bowling team finished up its regular season on Sunday with a big win over Milford, defeating the Mavericks, 27-3, with all five seniors bowling.
In the match, all five seniors bowled as part of Senior Day celebrations. Julia Masch had the high game for the team with a 170 followed by Lilly Bowen with a 167. Other seniors enjoying the big win were Morgan Tibbs, Tori McLaughlin, and Keagan Lorenz.
Lakeland will be competing on Friday at the LVC Conference Tournament at Century Bowl at 9am, and on Sunday the bowling teams will be participating in a Tune up Tournament at Grand Blanc Lanes at 9am. They will finish out the bowling season with Regionals being held at Century Bowl on Friday February 23rd and 24th

On Sunday, the Girls Varsity Bowling team earned its second win of the week of South Lyon East. Senior Keagan Lorenz had her personal best, and the high game for the girls with a 210.
This week the Lakeland Bowling teams will be at Pinz on Tuesday for a match against WL Western at 3:30pm. On Saturday they will be participating in the Divine Child Tournament at Oak Lanes in Westland.

Eagles Lose: 11 - 19
This weekend, the Girls Varsity Bowling team lost two LVC competitions. On Friday, the Eagles lost to Waterford Kettering, 17.5-12.5. On Sunday, the Varsity Girls started strong against S.Lyon taking the lead after both Baker games, but they struggled for the rest of the match and were defeated by S.Lyon, 19-11. T The Girls JV team defeated the Milford JV team. Sophomore Kaitlyn Mills bowled her personal best and the team high game with a 182.
The Lakeland Bowling Teams will be hosting on Tuesday at Century Bowl, with a match against S.Lyon East at 4pm. On Friday they will be at Wonderland Lanes with a match against Milford at 3:30pm.

Sunday, the Girls Varsity Bowling team competed in the Oakland County Championship. The Eagles qualified for bracket play as the #3 seed, but unfortunately their run in the tournament ended there, falling to Novi in the quarterfinals. Senior Keagan Lorenz finished in the top 10 with her 3-game series 536.

On Sunday, the Girls Varsity Bowling team had a match against Waterford Kettering. The Eagles defeated the Captains, 24-6.
Senior Tori McLaughlin had the team high game with a 179 and high 2-game series of 339. Freshman Kaitlyn Reed bowled her personal best 2-game series with a 316. On the Girls JV team, sophomore Kaitlyn Mills Bowled her personal best high game of 162 and her best 2-game series with a 304. Senior Lilly Bowen also bowled her personal best high game of 180.
Lakeland will be at Pinz on Monday for a match against Walled Lake Central at 3:30pm. On Saturday and Sunday the Varsity Teams will be participating in the Oakland County Tournaments. The girls will be bowling on Sunday at Century at 9am.

Yesterday, the Girls Varsity Bowling team competed against Walled Lake Northern. Unfortunately, the Eagles lost to WL Northern, 21-9. Senior Tori McLaughlin had the high game for the girls with a 175, and freshman Madison Reed bowled the team's highest 2-game series for the night with a 329. For the JV team, freshman Kaitlyn Reed bowled a great 183 game.
The Lakeland Bowling Teams will have their next meet after the Holiday break. On Sunday January 7th they will have a match against Waterford Kettering at 300 bowl at 9am, and Monday January 8 they have a meet at Pinz where they will bowl against WL Central at 3:30pm.

Over the weekend, the Girls Varsity Bowling team hosted the Lakeland Invitational Tournament. There were 16 girls teams competing and the Eagles finished in 3rd place. Senior Tori McLaughlin placed in the top 10 for a 3 game series bowling 537.
This week, Lakeland will have a match against Waterford Mott at Century Bowl at 4pm, and next Monday they will be at Pinz for a match against WL Northern at 6:30pm.

On Sunday, the Varsity Girls Bowling team participated in the Richard Hochstein Memorial Invitational at Wonderland Lanes. The Eagles finished in 3rd place overall. Senior Tori McLaughlin earned 2 medals finishing in the top 10 with a High Game of 211 and High 3 Game Series of 522. Freshman Madison Reed also finished in the top 10 with a High Game of 186 and senior Julia Masch had a top 10 High 3 Game Series with a 495.

This weekend, the Lakeland Girls Bowling teams started their season. Friday, the Eagles began LVC action with a match against WL Western. The Girls Varsity and Girls JV bowled unopposed. Senior Keagan Lorenz had the high score for the Girls with a 187.
This week, the teams will have a match against South Lyon on Tuesday at Century Bowl at 4pm. On Saturday they will be hosting the Lakeland Invitational at Century Bowl starting at 8am.
