On Sunday, the the Lakeland Bowling teams had a match against WL Northern. Lakeland didn’t get a win, but there were a few bowlers who beat their personal best scores. Sophomore Ethan Mladenoff bowled his personal best 2 game series, bowling a 187 and a 184 for a combined 2 game series of 371

On Friday, the Lakeland Bowling teams had a match against WL Central. The boys Varsity lost 18-12. Junior Zach Makowiec had the high game for the team with a 214.

Eagles Lose: 12.50 - 17.50
This past Sunday, the Lakeland Bowling Teams had a match against Milford. The Boys varsity bowled well in the Bakers event beating Milford 10-0, but came up short in the Singles event, losing the match 17.5-12.5. Senior Wyatt Steck had the top score for the team with a 211.
The Bowling team will be at Pinz on Monday with a match against S. Lyon at 3:30pm and on Friday at Wonderland they will be matched against Walled Lake Western. This coming weekend the team will be bowling in the Oakland County Tournament at Cherry Hill North on Sunday.

Eagles Win: 28.50 - 1.50
The Lakeland Boys Varsity Bowling team had its first head-to-head meet of the season on Sunday with a match against Walled Lake Northern.The Eagles got off to a great start beating Northern 28.5-1.5. Senior Wyatt Steck bowled a high game of 236, followed by junior Jason Januszko with a 219.
Lakeland will be hosting the next bowling meet on Tuesday 12/13 at Century Lanes at 3:45pm, they will be bowling against S.Lyon East. On Friday they will have a match against Waterford Kettering at Wonderland Lanes at 3:30pm.

This past weekend, the Boys Varsity Bowling team started its season by competing in two tournaments. At the Richard Hochstein tournament, held at Wonderland Lanes, junior Jason Januszko bowled the 5th highest score for the tournament with a 236, and the 7th highest series with a 616. Unfortunately the team fell short in advancing to match play.
All levels will begin regular conference bowling this Sunday with a meet at 300 bowl where they will match up against Walled Lake Northern.
