Last Friday, the Boys Track team had several athletes compete in the Oakland County Championship meet held at Oxford High School. Three student-athletes earned 4 medals at the event. On Tuesday, May 23rd, several 9th graders on the Boys Track team competed in the 9th Grade Oakland County Championship meet held at Milford High School.  The Eagles' representatives finished 10th overall, led by Andre Nuemann's two first-place finishes in the shot put and the discus. This past Saturday, our 9th/10th Boys Track athletes competed in the 39th annual Sunshine Invitational. The Boys placed 4th, and there were PRs and the group as a whole took home a lot of medals. On Thursday, April 20th, the Boys Track team competed against Milford and Waterford Kettering, coming away with a win against Kettering and a loss to Milford. The Eagles had the best dual meet of the year so far scoring high in multiple events, and the Boys Milford competition went down to the final race. Results from the meet are below: Boys: Tyler Brock (Sr) took 1st in the 100m with a time of 11.55. Trever Tschudin (So) took 2nd with a time of 11.99. Hayden Eiermann (So) took 3rd with a time of 12.56. Ben Cracana (Jr) Took 3rd place in the 400m with a time of 53.85 Pierce Grzymkowski (Jr) took 1st in the 800m with a great time of 2:08.39 Jared Platt (Sr) took 1st in the 1600 and took 1st in the 3200. His time for the 1600 was 4:36.15. His 3200 time was 9:56.23 The 4x100 relay team took 1st place with a great time of 45.39 (Trever Tschudin) (Tyler Brock) (Braxton Godin) (Hayden Eiermann) Maddox Lawrence (Jr) took 1st in the shot put with a distance of 44'8. Filip Steciak took 1st in the disc with a distance of 122'4. Andre Neumann (Fr) took 2nd with a distance of 119'3 and Joey Bunting (Sr) took 3rd with a distance of 113'1. The Boys Track team hosted its only meet of the 2023 season, honoring its Class of 2023 Seniors before going on to defeat Walled Lake Western and Waterford Mott. The Eagles beat Walled Lake Western 86-50, and they outscored Waterford Mott 114-22. First place efforts against both teams: 3200m Relay, Matt Eblen-110m hurdles, Brock Vinter-pole vault, Alec Stergiadis-long jump, Jared Platt-1600m, Maddox Lawrence-shot put, Pierce Grzymkowski-800m, Tyler Brock-200m, Jared Platt-3200m, 1600m relay First place effort against one team: Elliot Tobias-high jump, 400m relay, Maddow Lawrence-discus, Tyler Brock-100m

Today, the Boys Track team saw its first action of the 2023 season, participating in the Novi Relays. The Eagles finished 3rd.
