Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball wins 4th tournament of the season, defeating Dexter to win River Rat Invitational

Eagles Lose: -
  This past Saturday, the JV Volleyball participated in the competitive River Rat JV Invitational, playing tough programs like Skyline, Bedford, Henry Ford, and Dexter. While suffering only 1 set loss in pool play, securing the #2 seed in gold, the JV rallied and went undefeated in bracket play winning the championship in a back n forth battle against the Dexter Dreadnaughts. After this tournament win, that brings the JV to FOUR tournament championships this season!  The Eagles approach their final week of the season with a quad Thursday October 20th in the Lakeland Fieldhouse vs Skyline, Holly, and West Bloomfield. Finally, they close out their season at their final tournament Beast of the East this Saturday. Congratulations to the Lakeland JV Volleyball girls on such an incredible and memorable season. Come see the magic and cheer them on at their last home matches of the season this Thursday! Gameplay begins at 5pm!

Eagles Win: 2 - 1
It was a week of redemption for the JV Volleyball Team. Saturday October 1st, the JV team experienced its first tournament loss of the season falling in a 3 set thriller to their conference competitor, Walled Lake Northern. The JV team had 3 days to turn around and prepare to host Walled Lake Northern back home for their conference match in hopes to remain undefeated in the conference. After falling 23-25 in a back n forth 1st set, the JV team dominated the 2nd set evening the series with a score of 25-10. The 3rd set was nothing short of a true battle with the Eagles prevailing with the final score of 25-23. The night was full of the team's greatest dedication, quick recovery, hard work, teamwork, and earned their tournament redemption against Knights and still remain undefeated in the conference. No one on the team gave less than 100%, especially Ella Aberlich doing it all setting, back row defense, and front row attacking. Audrey Robinson kept the front row strong and stable with her quick hits, smart placement, and big blocks. Danica Gall displayed true passion, incredible teamwork, and strong consistent hits in the front row.

The JV Volleyball team adds another championship trophy to their already decorated shelf! The Eagles traveled to Birch Run Saturday for a day full of hard fought matches against challenging programs such as Grand Blanc, L’Anse Creuse North, Lapeer, and Notre Dame Prep. After falling to L’Anse Creuse in both sets in pool play, the JV were once again matched against the Crusaders in first round of bracket play. The Eagles battled and earned their redemption beating L’Anse Creuse North in 3. In the end, Lakeland was matched at a scrappy Notre Dame Prep team, and battled back n forth point for point coming on top winning 2/3 with the 3rd set score of 16-14.  Cassie Crotzer was undoubtedly the attacking standout of the day, both in front row and back row. While Ava Orlowski saved the team with her quick feet and stable and consistent passes.
Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball defeats South Lyon in 3 straight games

Eagles Win: 3 - 0
Thursday, the Girls JV Volleyball team matched against the South Lyon Lions, running away with a 3-0 victory with the set scores of 25-10, 25-12, 15-7. The Lady Eagles displayed hustle and grit and earned each one of their points. Defense was lead by Zoey Beaty & Ava Orlowski in back row, and strong blocks and sets with Ella Aberlich front row.

Last Saturday, the Girls JV Volleyball team traveled to Brighton for the L2 Invitational. The JV went undefeated in pool play beating out Dearborn and Plymouth, only to lose 1 set to South Lyon in bracket play soaring past the Lions and Plymouth again to take the championship. A hard earned tournament victory thanks to attacking standouts, Audrey Robinson and Cassie Crotzer, with help of Reagan Thompson in back row and the setting Aberlich sisters.

Eagles Win: 3 - 0
Thursday, the JV Volleyball team welcomed its toughest competition so far in Rochester Adams, but the Eagles still prevailed with the scores of 25-15, 25-23, 15-11.  Jenna Trzcinski & Reagan Thompson kept the team stable and strong in both the front row attacks, and back row defense. Haley Aberlich was quick on the sets, and earned the most points at the service line.

Tuesday, the JV Volleyball team defeated Waterford Kettering in 3 straight games.  Final scores: 25-9, 25-17, 15-8.

Thursday, the JV Volleyball team opened up conference play traveling to Walled Lake Central. The Eagles took care of business, winning both sets by scores of 25-17 and 25-13. With Walled Lake Central’s steady defense, their offense was shut down by big blocker Audrey Robinson in middle, and picked up by our strong, quick, and ready back row led by Lily Sienkiewicz, Ava Orlowski, and Olivia Kalhorn. 
Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball opens season by winning the LVC Tournament over Walled Lake Northern

Saturday, the JV Volleyball team traveled to Walled Lake Central for the LVC Tournament Championship and left with some hardware. In a 3 set thriller against Walled Lake Northern for the title, the Eagles pulled through with a first set win with the score of 25-22. After being challenged by a disciplined WL Northern, the Eagles were pushed to a 3rd set after falling 15-25. The Eagles started the set falling 2-7, then Lily Sienkiewicz stepped up to the service line and evened the score to 7-7. The Eagles fought point for point and ultimately ran away with the championship. An incredible hard earned victory, that couldn’t be achieved without our setters Ella Aberlich, Haley Aberlich, and Ari Brueckner.
