Boys Junior Varsity Football dominates Walled Lake Northern; Eagles defeat Knights, 46-6

Eagles Win: 46 - 6
Last Thursday, the LHS JV Football team beat Walled Lake Northern by a score of 46 - 6.
George Herron, Exavier Moyer, and Ricky Tyzo led the way up front for the sophomores while James Stewart, Nate Johnson, and Colton Fruytier led the 9th grade lines. A flock of Eagles contributed to the scoring including Sam Broome, Wyatt Roberston, CJ Zonneveld, Zach Nelson, and Trevor Mears amongst others. Defensively, another outstanding effort as opponents have been held scoreless 10 of the last 12 quarters that the Eagles have played.
They next take the field Thursday at MHS. The 9th grade game starts at 4:30 while the JV game starts at 6:30pm in their final game(s) of the year.

Eagles Win: 16 - 0
Last week, the Sub-varsity Football teams split up for games at South Lyon.
The JV Football team beat South Lyon by a score of 16 - 0. Ricky Tyzo, Yanni Karagious, and Kaden Eller lead the way up front. Laken Smith had a sack which caused a fumble and Cash Miller had an interception. Sammy Broome scored both touchdowns and had both 2-pt conversions as well.
The 9th grade football team lost to South Lyon by a score of 31 - 0. Drew Alvis and Jacob Prater led the way up front while Malakai Sherwood displayed an outstanding effort on both offense and defense.
The JV next plays this Thursday at home vs. Walled Lake Northern.
JV Football team defeats Waterford Mott on the road, 22-6

Eagles Win: 22 - 6
Last week, the JV Football Eagles went on the road and beat a quality Waterford Mott team 22 - 6.
Kaden Eller and Dequandre Taylor led the way up front on the line of scrimmage. Defensively, Ethan Rowley had two interceptions one of which was returned for a TD, Trevor Mears had an interception and Xavier Moyer recovered a fumble.
On offense Blake Loisel and Sam Broome both busted off long runs. Loisel also threw a TD pass to Ethan Rowley, CJ Zonneveld scored a rushing TD and Wyatt Robertson scored on a 2PT conversion.
The Eagles play on the road today as they travel to South Lyon to play both 9th grade and JV football game(s).
Boys Junior Varsity Football falls to Walled Lake Western, 20-2

Eagles Lose: 2 - 20
This past Thursday, the JV Football team lost to Walled Lake Western, 20-2.
Colin Duffany and George Herron led the Eagles up front on the offensive and defensive lines. Kaden Eller and Xavier Moyer combined on a tackle in the end zone to record a safety. Blake Loisel threw for 50 yards, Cash Miller led the Eagles in rushing and receiving yards and CJ Zonneveld played an outstanding game on both sides of the football.
The JV Eagles next play Thursday, September 28th vs. Waterford Mott.
Boys Junior Varsity Football dominates Walled Lake Central, winning 36-0

Eagles Win: 36 - 0
Wednesday night, the JV Football team beat Walled Lake Central by a score of 36 - 0. The game was highlighted with a total team defensive effort resulting in the shutout.
Drew Alvis, Adam Iskender and Dequadre Taylor led the way on the O/D lines. Xavier Moyer had 9 tackles including a sack and Dylan Brown had an interception for the second straight game. Offensively, Blake Loisel connected on a 40 yard TD pass to Cash Miller. Wyatt Roberston, Zack Nelson and Gavin Moore all had TD's while Sammy Broome rushed for 100+ yards and added a 2 PT conversion. Ethan Rowley had 60 4th quarter rushing yards and Carson Leslie added a 2PT conversion to round out the scoring.
The JV Eagles next play at home Thursday, September 21 at home vs. WLW ... 6:30pm kick off. See you there!
