Tuesday, April 8th, the Boys Volleyball Team hosted conference rivals Walled Lake Central and Waterford Mott. Despite not looking like themselves, and struggling with out of system play, the boys overcame some adversity and found victory in both matches. 

Walled Lake Central got up early with a 5 point run testing the nerves of the conference leading Eagles. Midway through the first game, Derek Varga and middle blocker Harrison Vivier led a turnaround that helped secure victory. The boys beat the Vikings in two sets, 25-22 and 25-18. Zach Dobrin helped with setting the two kill leading outside hitters Jacob Dobrin and Eli Yen. Fisher Demarest rounded it all out with 3 kills and some clutch blocks. 

While facing the Mott Corsairs, the Eagles won in two sets, 25-11 and 25-13. Gabe Scott and Mark Choma picked up some kills while Dylan Darby and Ren Ichikawa did some work in the back row.

The highlight of the evening was Jacob Valenton's late breakfast, when he dished out a pancake save.

The team returns to action tonight, Thursday, when the Eagles host Milford and Clarkston.
