Wednesday, March 19th, the Boys Volleyball team traveled to Hartland for their season opener against the host team and Okemos. The Eagles found victory in both matches winning in two sets. Being the season opener, a variety of line-ups found some time on the court. There were notable performances from a number of veterans and some fledgling Eagles! Zach Dobrin (Jr.) led the team in kills and serving aces. Seniors Derek Varga and Jacob Valenton held things together leading the team with assists. Hartland had a hard time containing freshman Jacob Dobrin, while going 7/7 in kills. Eli Yen (Sr.), Tyler Buback (Sr.), and Gabe Scott (Sr.) all showed their experience and craftyness helping to carry the team to victory. It was a team effort with senior Harrison Vivier protecting the middle.
