Thursday, April 6th was a night the Boys Volleyball team will never forget. Lakeland had the privilege of hosting not only the program's very FIRST game day, but it was individually every player's first volleyball game day as well! The night was about coming together as a team, learning about the game, and never giving up the battle.

First up, the Eagles faced the Walled Lake Central Vikings. The first set was full of trial and error falling 14-25. Second set, the boys adjusted their game, and made a comeback but still fell short, ending the set 23-25.

In the second match, the Eagles played a tough Okemos Wolves team. After falling 16-25 in the first set, the Eagles once again made the competition close and fought point for point ending the second set with a score of 23-25.

The team was led by Ryan Snody and Tyler Buback in the front row, both with strong blocks and a combined 7 kills. In the back row was Jacob Valenton with a team high 6 digs, and 4 aces at the service line for the night.

Next up, the Eagles have their first series of conference matches at HOME on April 19th 5:30/6:30/7:30 playing North Branch, Catholic Central, and Avondale! Mark your calendars, because April 19th will also be their final home match of the season.
