Girls Varsity Snowboarding wins State Championship

Exciting news from the Snowboard Cross State Finals held yesterday at Treetops Ski Resort in Gaylord: the Girls Snowboard Cross team won the State Championship! Already the "Queens of the Hill" at Alpine Valley based on their success during the season, the Eagles navigated bracket-style match-ups to declare themselves "Queens Up North" as well.
Riders Kate Hanneman, Bella Wakefield, Addison Sievert, Dani Gall, Carly Anderson, and Kayla Fournier, all among top 40 fastest racers in the state, also competed in the Individual State Finals. Hanneman finished 3rd overall and Gall placed 8th.
