Girls Varsity Snowboarding team reigns as "Queen of the Hill"; Eagles place 1st at final team race of the regular season

Monday, February 10th, the LHS Snowboard Cross teams raced in the final team event of the regular season. The Girls team finished 1st with riders Kate Hanneman, Carly Anderson, Bella Wakefield, Kayla Fournier, and Dani Gall having stellar performances.
Rounding out the regular season with a bang, the Girls Snowboard Cross team was crowned 2025 “Queen of the Hill” for scoring the most team points over the season. The Girls team qualified for the team bracket at the State Championship event. They are pictured below (missing Addison Sievert who also contributed to the win) after their Queen of the Hill win.
Both Boys and Girls snowboard cross racers will compete again on Tuesday, February 11th, in the time trial event where each rider will have a chance to earn a spot at the State Championship event in the individual bracket. The 10 fastest girls and 10 fastest boys will go on.
