Last Monday, February 24th, Brock Vinter represented the Lakeland Boys Ski team at the MHSAA State Finals. Brock qualified based on his efforts at the MHSAA Regional.

On race day at Nubs Nob, Brock faced a drizzly morning that turned into breezy 40-46°F conditions, taking on some of Michigan’s steepest and most demanding race courses with confidence.  Brock raced against 74 of the state's top boys.

Brock's runs:
GS on Smokey & Valley: 
Run 1: 30.74 seconds (54th) – Clean and fast! 
Run 2: 29.65 seconds (58th) – Powered through for a 60.39 total, taking 53rd!
Slalom on Scarface & Chute: 
Run 1: 51.11 seconds (59th) – A solid effort to kick things off! 
Run 2: 46.19 seconds (45th) – A big leap forward, finishing with a 97.30 total for 48th!
