The Boys Ski Team won its first meet of the season, beating Novi 33-50.
Led by senior Borja Guillen-Mendez (IA) in Giant Slalom and junior Brendon Kornacki in Slalom the Lakeland Boys earned their first win of the season beating Novi while losing a tough one to Walled Lake Northern.
Seniors Conner Lance and Shane Hyatt also helped the team earn its first victory in over a year, while sophomore Brock Vintner (IA) fresh off the JV squad scoring points helped the team gain some much-needed momentum.
