Tuesday, the Boys Ski team raced in the LVC Championships at Alpine Valley tonight on a beautiful day with cold temps and great race conditions!!! Seven teams took to the slopes for the Conference title and Lakeland skied well finishing 4th.
Senior Jack Percy had one of his best nights with a 9th overall in Slalom and GS, sophomore Borja Guillen-Mendez was 18th in SL and 19th in GS, Sophomore Conner Lance took 21st in SL and 15th in GS, and junior Ian Day was 19th in SL and 16th in GS.
The team gets the day off Wednesday and comes back Thursday for the all day Region 3 Championship and State qualifying race. The top 3 teams and top 10 individuals at the Regional will qualify to race at the D1 State Final at Nub's Nob on Feb 22.
