The Girls Ski team competed in the State Finals along with qualifier Zach Massey from the Boys Ski team at Boyne Highlands on Monday. The weather was bluebird, sunshine, but the snow was soft and challenging at times with the warmer temps.

Our boy racer, senior Zach Massey qualified in the Regional to ski in slalom in the State Finals. He had two great runs on very challenging courses and came away with a 21st place finish in the field of 65 plus racers. Coach Sue Wiberg said she was so proud of the way he finished the season, working through some tough spots along the way and not giving up! He really stepped up his game as the season progressed and finished well.
