Tuesday, the JV Softball team swept a doubleheader from Waterford Mott.

In the opener, the Eagles put up 10 hits in a 17-1 victory in three innings. Brynn Taliercio had 3 hits with 3 RBIs, and Madison Borders had 2 hits and scored 3 runs. Haley Stein got the start and win in the circle. Stein pitched a two-inning no-hitter, walking 1 and striking out 4. Kylee Flack came on to pitch the final inning, giving up 1 run and 2 hits.

In the second game, the Eagles continue their hot hitting, collecting 12 hits. Emilee Dostal was 3 for 4 with 4 RBIs; Morgan Hamilton was 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs, Bailey Hesano was 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs, Morgan Tibbs scored 2 runs; Iyana Ellis walked twice and scored a run, and Tierney Finnigan was 2 for 2 with 4 RBI’s. Hamilton was the starter in the circle. She went 3 innings striking out 7, giving up 1 run and 1 hit.

JV softball improved its record to 4-0. The next game is at Clarkston on Thursday, April 14.
