The JV Softball opened the season on Thursday with a doubleheader at Walled Lake Central.  The Eagles took both games of the doubleheader.

In the first game, the Eagles pounded out 21 hits in a 16-5 decision in five innings.  Brynn Taliercio, Haley Stein, Paige Ambler, Izzy Bedini, Madison Borders, and Madi Nelson contributed with multiple hits.  Ambler was the starting pitcher, going 3 innings and giving up 0 runs.  Morgan Hamilton came on in relief to pitch the final two innings.

In the nightcap, the Eagle's bats stayed hot with 17 hits in an 18-1 win in 3 innings.  Taliercio, Stein, Ambler, Emilee Dostal, and Tierney Finnigan all contributed with multiple hits.  Stein was the starting pitcher, going 2 innings and giving up 1 hit and no runs.  Kylee Flack came on in relief, giving up 1 hit and a run.

JV Softball's next game is a home game against Waterford Mott on Tuesday April 12.
