In a doubleheader from earlier in the season, the JV Softball team swept a doubleheader against South Lyone East.

In the first game, Lakeland Eagles JV held on to defeat South Lyon East 20-10 in six innings.  Lakeland jumped out to a 10-0 lead, Mia McDonald opened up the game with a grand slam in the second inning.  McDonald went 3 for 3 with 5 RBI's.  Kyra Mears went 3 for 4 and drove in 4.  Emma Benton, Maddie Borders, Emily Day, and Maddy Kaspor all had multiple hits for the Eagles.  Kaylee Philippon went 6 innings for the win.  Philippon gave up 12 hits and struck out 4.

In-game two, South Lyon East got off to a quick start, putting up two in the first.  Lakeland responded with three in the bottom of the first. Emma Benton and Maddy Kaspor had multiple hits in the game. Kaspor drove in two RBI's.  Allison Day was on the mound for the win.  Day went 5 innings, giving up 2 hits.
