Tuesday, May 4th the JV Softball team competed against Stoney Creek taking home 2 wins (10-0 and 12-2)

Game 1:

Lakeland Eagles JV defeated Stoney Creek 10-0. Allison Day earned the win for Lakeland on the mound allowing zero runs and two hits over six innings, striking out 11.  Lakeland JV notched four runs in the sixth inning with Nathalie Hagle and Parker Ostach both driving in runs during the inning and having multiple hits through the game. Lakeland collected nine hits leading them to the victory.

Game 2:

Lakeland Eagles JV defeated Stoney Creek knocking in nine runs in the third inning.  Mia McDonald singled on a 2-2 count scoring two runs, Maddy Kaspor singled on a 2-1 count scoring one run, Hagle singled on a 1-2 count scoring one run, Kyra Mears doubled on a 1-2 count scoring one run, and Kidder singled on a 1-1 count scoring two runs in a 2 out rally.  Kellie Mueller earned the win for Lakeland on the mound lasting five innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out 11.  Mears, Emily Day, Hagle, and Kaspor had multiple hits through the game.
