The Girls Varsity Bowling team achieved a resounding victory against Milford on Friday, defeating the Mavericks, 29 to 1. Sophomore Madison Reed bowled the team's high game with a score of 221, and sophomore Kaitlyn Read bowled the high two-game series with a score of 392. The JV team contributed to the overall success, defeating Milford with a score of 26 to 4. Freshman Shyanne Rice bowled a personal best score of 164, and junior Dani Parker contributed a high game of 165.
Looking ahead, the Lakeland Bowling Teams will compete against Waterford Mott at Century Bowl on Tuesday. The Varsity teams will then participate in the Oakland County Tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
