Monday night, the Huron Valley United Girls Varsity Lacrosse team defeated South Lyon United, 13-1.
The Titan's defense, aptly dubbed the 'Iron Curtain", including seniors Alex Petrusha and Sabrina Girardi and junior Bella Woolhiser, shut down the Lion offense with numerous defensive turnovers while senior Amelia Mason danced in the crease posting saves at 93% for the match.
Scoring for the Titans include senior Emily Prell with four (4) goals while also posting a +70% draw control, freshman Chloe Caldwell and sophomore Macy Jenkins each with three (3) goals, senior Casey Meadows (2) and junior Ashley Schneeman (1) to round out the night.
The Titans play tonight (Thursday) at Lakeland High School.
