Monday, Huron Valley United Girls Varsity Lacrosse team defeated South Lyon United 16-6 under the purple sky. The Titan offense started off strong with back-to-back goals from IA junior Emily Prell in the first two minutes followed by a second pair from Milford senior Jenna Hoppe. The Titan defense, aptly dubbed the “Iron Curtain”, held back the Lions' offense with key plays by Alex Petrusha and Jordyn Sienkiewicz. Lighting up the scoreboard Monday night with goals: Abby Hrobsky (4), Ashley Spangler (1), Casey Meadows (1), Emily Prell (4), Jenna Hoppe (4), and Veronica Ricci (2).
