Saturday, May 10th, the Girls Varsity Tennis team completed their LVC Tournament, with Lakeland finishing in 4th place, just behind South Lyon. Freshman Clara Bronka took home the Gold Medal at #3 Singles, claiming the title of LVC Champion. Congrats also go out to Madeline Akarakcian , Dani Pop, and Maddie Bergemoser for all earning 2nd place and Silver Medals. There were several seniors who played their final match—Megan Huberts, Dani Pop, Maddie Bergmoser, Leanna Yen, and Addison Bellanca. Next is the Regional Tournament where Lakeland will play some of the strongest teams in the State.
