Last week, the Girls Varsity Tennis finished their final match against Milford after having two separate rain delays. Despite the delays, Lakeland came out with a final win against their rivals at Milford, defeating the Mavericks 5-4. Court 1 Singles player Madeline Akarkcian, Court 2 Singles Bre Azzopardi, and Court 3 Singles Clara Bronka all defeated their opponents in straight sets. Court 2 Doubles team Leanna and Kylie Yen (the sister duo) won their match in two sets, while Court 4 Doubles team Alex Bell and Kanon Oshio secured their victory in a third set.
