Wednesday, April 30th, the Girls Varsity Tennis team traveled to face Waterford United. The Eagles brought several Junior Varsity players to compete against the large Waterford United squad. The combined Varsity and JV team secured an impressive 7–2 victory. 

Diya Shekhawat played her first singles match at Court 4 Singles and won decisively, 6–1, 6–1. The Court 1 Doubles team of Alex Bell and Kanon Oshio won in a third-set tiebreaker to defeat their opponents. The Court 2 Doubles team of Clair Sanios and Annabelle Thompson, along with the Court 4 Doubles team of Leah Kalhorn and Bella Farina, both won in straight sets. It was a fun and successful combined match for the Lakeland Tennis team.
