Monday, August 28th, the Girls Varsity Tennis team hosted Bloomfield Hills for an Under the Lights match. Bloomfield Hills consistently ranks as one of the top teams in the state, and Lakeland enjoyed the strong competition and put up a solid fight. Madeline Akarakcian, playing at Court 1 Singles, won the first set of her match but narrowly lost in a tight tiebreaker. Overall, it was a great evening of competition for the Lakeland team.
