Monday, April 14th, the Girls Varsity Tennis team faced a tough South Lyon team. Despite the best efforts of the team the final score was 7-2 in favor of South Lyon.

Court 2 singles player Bre Azzopardi and Court 3 singles player Clara Bronka each defeated their opponents in straight sets. Court 1 doubles team Dani Pop and Madeline Bergemoser lost in a gut wrenching third-set tiebreaker. The Court 4 doubles team of Kylie Yen and Kanon Oshio also pushed their match to a third set but ultimately came up short after a long, hard-fought battle. Overall, Lakeland competed fiercely against a challenging opponent.
