Wednesday, April 8th, the Girls Varsity Tennis team faced an extremely tough opponent in North Farmington. Although Lakeland lost all nine courts, every player put up a strong fight. Court 1 Doubles team Dani Pop and Madeline Bergemoser, Court 3 Doubles team Addison Bellanca and Alex Bell, and Court 4 Doubles team Kylie Yen and Kanon Oshio all pushed their matches to a third set. Despite the loss, Lakeland Tennis showed significant improvement in their second match of the season and looks forward to a strong season ahead.
