The Girls Varsity Tennis team played its first away match at South Lyon on 4/13 and defeated the Lions by a score of 5-4.

Lakeland's #1 singles Mireia Garrigo, #2 singles Alexis Guenther, and #3 singles Saanvi Jois all won in straight sets. #1 doubles Sunny Bikki and Ava Assante also won in straight sets. #2 doubles team Gabbi Putrus and Bre Azzopardi lost their first set but came back to win the next two sets to the clench the victory in a 3rd set tiebreaker. Overall great first away match for Lakeland!
