Saturday, April 26th, the Varsity Softball team competed in the annual Anchor Bay softball tournament featuring some of the best teams in the State.  The Eagles had a good day on the field, winning two out of three, eventually losing to the tournament champion Fenton in the semi final game.  Izzy Bedini had an incredible day at the plate hitting .900 on the day.  Brynn Taliercio went 7-11, Alyssa Goldman went 5-10; Zoie Gagnon went 4-9 at the plate and made her debut on the mound, going 2 innings, striking out 2. Paige Ambler had a great day at the plate and on the mound.  Ambler was 3-8 at the plate and pitched a 7 inning shut out over Grosse Point North. Emily Searle was 4-11 with 4 RBI's on the day. Melina Wing got the win over a very good Riverview team, going 7 innings and striking out 3.
