Tuesday, April 22nd, the Varsity Softball team defeated Waterford Kettering in two games, defeating the Captains in both games, 16-1.
Lakeland 16 Waterford Kettering 1
Brynn Taliercio collected three hits on the day. Taliercio tripled in the first, singled in the second and singled in the third, driving on three runs on the day. Emilee Searle, Piper Huff and Alyssa Goldman each had a couple hits. Zoie Gagnon, Paige Ambler and Aubrey VanGoethem each had one hit apiece. Melina WIng went the distance for the win giving up on unearned run on one hit and struck out 3.

Alyssa Goldman went 3 for 3. Goldman Doubled in the second, singled in her other two at bats, driving in 2 runs on the day. Melina Wing had a hit and drove in 3. Ema Hewitt singled driving in 2 runs. Aubrey VanGoethem had a single and 3 RBI's. Meredith Peterson doubled and drove in 3. Zoie Gagnon, Noelle O'Dowd, Izzy Vaca each had a hit. Meredith Peterson went the distance on the mound, giving up 1 run on 2 hits.
