On Wednesday, April 16th, the Eagles lost two games to Walled Lake Northern: WLN 12 LHS 2 and WLN 19 LHS 8.

In the first game, sloppy defense and quiet bats led to the Eagles losing to Northern 12-2. The Eagles only managed 4 hits. Brynn Taliercio and Emilee Dostal each had a double, Izzy Bedina and Alyssa Goldman each singled. 

In the second game, Lakeland jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the first inning but couldn't hold on as Northern defeated the Eagles 19-8. The game was tied 7-7 going into the fourth inning but Northern bats came alive and plated 6 runs in the fourth and fifth innings. Lakelands defense was sloppy again, committing 4 errors on the day. The bats were better in game two, pounding out 10 hits. Goldman (Single,Double), Taliercio (Single, Double) and Dostal (Single, Double) contributed 2 hits apiece. Izzy Bedini (Double), Emily Searle, Zoie Gagnon (Double) and Piper Huff each had one hit.
