Thursday, the Varsity Softball team swept a doubleheader from Walled Lake Western. The Eagles won by scores of 8-2 and 17-11.

Highlights from Game #2

Western started out with 4 runs in the 1st, but Lakeland tied it in the bottom of the 3rd at 6 to 6.

In the 4th with the bases loaded, Sophia Shaw hit a triple to pull ahead.

Western tied the game in the 5th 11 to 11

The Eagles came back in the bottom of 5th with 5 runs. Shaw had another triple to help the cause.

Natalie Gizoni went 3 for 3

Summer Ambler went 4 for 5 (winning pitcher )

Sophia Shaw 4 for 4 with 7 RBI’s and 2 triples
