Tuesday, May 6th, the Girls Varsity Soccer team faced off against Walled Lake Northern in the opening round of the LVC tournament.  After Lakeland denied several strong attacks from the Knights, they broke through to open up the scoring nine minutes into the game. Lakeland battled for possession throughout the half, but Northern was able to take advantage of and score off of two corner kicks, bringing the score to 3-0 at the half. The Eagles never let up and with nine minutes remaining in the game Cailyn Milewski followed a rebounded shot, placing it in the back of the net. Northern was able to score off another corner kick with 5 minutes remaining, bringing the final score to 4-1 in favor of the Knights.
