Thursday, May 1st, the Girls Varsity Soccer team traveled to Walled Lake Central for their final LVC matchup of the regular season. 

The Eagles played quality soccer from the very first whistle; dominating possession, creating numerous scoring opportunities and maintaining a tight back line of defense. End to end, the Eagles put forth an excellent whole team performance. The offense brought a strong attack and placed several shots on target, but Central’s goalkeeper was able to withstand the pressure. Goalkeeper Audrey Buehner made several key saves as well and was credited with the shutout for Lakeland. In the end, the final outcome of the game was a 0-0 draw.
