Girls Varsity Soccer rallies in 2nd half to draw to a 2-2 tie with South Lyon

On Tuesday, April 29th the Girls Varsity Soccer team hosted South Lyon.
Although the game started with even possession between the two teams, South Lyon was able to break through to score two unanswered goals in the first half.
Two scores down, the Eagles came onto the field determined in the second half. Lakeland dominated possession and created many offensive opportunities. 17 minutes into the second half Cailyn Milewski sent a pass up to Breslin Scott who buried it in the back of the net bringing the score to 2-1. The Eagles kept up the pressure and intensity. With 11 minutes remaining in the match Emery Collick sent a cross into the box that Silvia Drap got a head on, sending it into the net behind the South Lyon keeper. The Eagles played tough defensively and continued to pressure offensively until the final whistle blew, the game ultimately ending in a 2-2 draw.
The Eagles will travel to Walled Lake Central on Thursday, May 1st for a 6pm matchup against the Vikings.
