On Thursday, April 24th, the Girls Varsity Soccer team hosted South Lyon East. Lakeland opened up the scoring 11 minutes into the match when Hayden Schmidt sent a pass to Breslin Scott who placed a shot into the top corner of the net. The Eagles held tight to their lead for the next 40 minutes of play, but East was able to score twice in the  69th and 72nd minutes of the match. The Eagles never let up, but when the final whistle blew, the final score remained 2-1 in favor of South Lyon East.
