Tuesday, April 8th was another cold one for the Girls Varsity Soccer team as the Eagles hosted Walled Lake Northern for their second LVC matchup of the season. Northern opened the scoring in the 15th minute of play. The Eagles answered back when Savannah Herning sent a great cross into the box to Hayden Schmidt who beat her defender and found the back of the net. Northern scored again in the 37th minute, bringing the score to 2-1 at the half. Both teams played strong defense in a very physical second half, neither team allowing another goal. The final score was 2-1 in favor of Northern. 

The Eagles will travel to Holly this Thursday, April 10th at 6:30pm to face off against the Bronchos.
